Bamboo Train in Battambang

Bamboo Train (Norry) operated on National Railway in Battambang is officially closed from October 4^th, 2017 onward until further notice.

It has been a long while when we have been informed that Royal Government of Cambodia had decided to put an end to bamboo train and install a real national railway though the exact date was unclear as the program had been delayed from one year to another, bamboo train is officially closed from today onward, October 4th, 2017.

According to the unofficial announcement, the bamboo train project may be planned at another site in Battambang for conservation of this popular bamboo train. This project is under consideration. We will update you as soon as we get the official announcement.

Note: A nice alternative activity in Battambang will be proposed to replace Bamboo train which was included in our package tours.
