The NGO “AAA”, which allows children from poor families and orphans to get access to education, helps them to train in performing arts such as dance, music and theatre.
All Dreams Cambodia send them groups of tourists to observe how these youngsters following the experience of their old teachers reproduce the traditional gestures and how they get accustomed to ancient forms of music (closed on the week-end and Public Holidays). Apsara Arts Association is another group of underprivileged children and orphans receiving performing arts training by Royal Cambodian dance master Vong Metry in Phnom Penh.
Visitors are welcome to watch rehearsals during the day. Each Saturday evening, a performance of classical and folk dance and music is held at 07:30pm. This is a dynamic group to watch and support. Private performance commissions are also possible. The Office is located beyond the Royal University of Phnom Penh in Phnom Penh Thmey, Russey Keo @ # 71, Street 598.
