Description

In the morning, transfer your hotel in Phnom Penh by Tuk-Tuk to the Mekong River crossing in local boat to the island of silk ” Koh Dach ”, famous for the weavers of Khmer silk. After crossing the river, continue directly to the homestay.

Arriving on the other side and explore the famous island Koh Dach by Bike (around 4km). This is a scenic route along the Mekong River where there are many fishing villages. You will admire the charming villages and beautiful river views. Then, if you wish, you can participate in the preparation of Cambodian dishes.

Lunch at homestay.

Around 3pm (if you wish to stay longer, please inform your guide), return back to Phnom Penh and transfer to your hotel.

Program: Phnom Penh – Kampot – Kep – Phnom Penh (3 days / 2 nights)

Day 1: Phnom Penh – Kampot by Train

Breakfast is own arrangement.

At 6am, transfer from the hotel to train station for the departure from Phnom Penh to Kampot province (around 4hours – 4hours30). Upon arrival, transfer by private vehicle for lunch.

After lunch time, you will discover the organic production of pepper. Take an organized tour around the fields and see the different varieties growing, and how they are collected and processed. The tour guide will explain all the details of production, from seed to the end product popular worldwide. 

Then, transfer to Kep.

Overnight in Kep.

Day 2: Kep – Kampot

Breakfast at the hotel.

At 8am, transfer for the visit of Kampot city tour and the museum. This small museum located in the former house of the Governor of Kampot, now restored, will allow you to discover the history of the region. From the pre-historic period to today trace the name, and discover the characters created this province. 

See one of Kampot’s hidden secrets, start with a short drive through some rough terrain with beautiful scenery in your own off-road vehicle. Then follow our tour guide on foot through Cambodia’s natural jungle, see its wildlife to its full. Climb rocks, cross rivers whilst trekking past all natural pools and more beautiful scenery until you finally reach the waterfall & its stunning surrounding. Swim, relax and taste it all in before a short drive back.

After lunch, continue to visit Phnom Chhnork, a Hindu cave temple in Kampot Province, southern Cambodia, was built in the 7th century from Funan brick, dedicated to Shiva. It is accessed view stone steps.

Depart at the pier and then you will take a local boat ride to explore the mangrove forest. The peaceful atmosphere and the spectacular beauty of the mangrove forest allow you a relaxing and refreshed atmosphere, and there you will plant a mangrove.

Overnight in Kep.

Day 3: Kep – Kampong Trach – Phnom Penh

Breakfast at the hotel

In the morning, visit the crab market and Kep National Park which gives a beautiful federate and contemplate the whole landscape of the city.

Then, return to the hotel for refreshment and check-out.

Transfer to the Phnom Penh (164km/around 3hours drive), you will stop to visit the Kompong Trach Caves. These caves considered by the locals to be natural temples are sacred.

Arrive Phnom Penh, and transfer to your hotel.
