New Dress-code regulations to enter S-21 Tuol Sleng Genocidal Museum in Phnom Penh

Dear Valued Guests and Partners,

There has been some inapropriate behaviour in the past during the visit of the museum, and S-21 Tuol Sleng Genocidal Museum is now asking visitors to wear appropriate clothing in order to respect the souls of the Cambodian people killed at S-21, covering both shoulders and below knees, and this regulation will be stricly enforced from January 1st 2020.

Visitors wearing “scanty clothes” will be asked to wear “respectful clothing” as sleeveless shirts, crop tops and skin-tight clothing are currently strictly prohibited effective immediately, and Traditional pants and shirt may be provided/lent to you for the time being in order to enter the museum and they will be charged at a fee after December 2019.

We advise you to get dressed appropriately in order to avoid mishap upon arrival at the Museum Entrance.
